This post highlights the Tactical Ranks for the S&P 500 GICS level 1 sector ETFs.
The Top Five Tactical Ranks are Technology, Healthcare, Communication Services, Consumer Discretionary, and Energy. The Growth sectors (Technology, Communication Services, and Discretionary) dominate the top five. Technology reclaims the top spot from Healthcare and is the only sector with a consistent top five ranking over the last 10 weeks. Utilities drop out of the top five, replaced by Energy.
The Bottom Five Tactical Ranks are Real Estate, Consumer Staples, Materials, Utilities, and Financials, showing a Defensive and Cyclical tilt. Utilities replace Industrials in the bottom five. The sector laggards are more consistent, with Real Estate, Staples, Materials, and Financials all stuck in the bottom five over the last 10 weeks.
